
Clean Games Intercontinental Cup Russia - USA: Bronx
The Clean Games is a team competition aimed at cleaning up natural areas and promoting sustainable practices. The event will be held within one day (on October 10) in different American and Russian cities. Teams of 2-4 persons will compete for 1 hour. The collected garbage must be handed over to volunteers, the participants get points for it (more points are awarded for separate collection of waste). Game statistics are kept in real-time on the website and in the mobile application; the tournament winners will receive prizes. This Game is held with the support of the Eurasia Foundation, the US-Russia Social Expertise Exchange Program and World Aral Region Charity.
This event will be held in the Franz Sigel Park, in the Bronx, New York City. Franz Sigel Park is located on 157th street and Walton Avenue. It is accessible through the BX2 bus, BX19 bus, the 4 train, 5 train, and 2 train, each having stops at 149th street and Grand Concourse. Participants can walk to the park from this stop. The meeting time is 9:00 am, 30 minutes before the clean games officially begin. The event will start at 9:30 am est and go up to 11:30 am. There is no age limit.
