Clean Games Intercontinental Cup Russia - USA: Ventura, CA
The Clean Games is a team competition aimed at cleaning up natural areas and promoting sustainable practices. The event will be held within one day (on October 10) in different American and Russian cities. Teams of 2-4 persons will compete for 1 hour. The collected garbage must be handed over to volunteers, the participants get points for it (more points are awarded for separate collection of waste). Game statistics are kept in real-time on the website and in the mobile application; the tournament winners will receive prizes.
This Game is held with the support of the Eurasia Foundation, the US-Russia Social Expertise Exchange Program and World Aral Region Charity.

Parking is PAID ($2/hr, $8/day) in the lot. Street parking is limited.
Meeting Time
Supplies will be dispersed to teams between 9:00-9:30 am at the headquarters table (look for a table with a "clean games" sign near the pier.)
The game will take place between 9:30-10:30 am, and all garbage bags will be collected between 10:30-11:00 am at the HQ table.
Winners of the Clean Games will receive prizes after 11:00 am!
Things to bring:
Please bring your own water, snack, and sunscreen. A hat and sunglasses will also be useful. All participants are required to bring a face covering to respect the COVID-19 guidelines of Port Hueneme Beach and Ventura County.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided.
Tournament Rules
Clean Games is open to participants of all ages, but participants under the age of 14 MUST sign a parental waiver in order to participate unless accompanied by a guardian (contact Eleanor to print this form).
Participants will work in teams of 2-4 people.
Participants may only collect trash in the hour allotted (9:30-10:30 am), and may only collect trash within the bounds of Port Hueneme Beach Park. Do NOT collect trash in the protected land at Ormond Beach or along Surfside Drive, as this poses a risk to yourself and the surrounding protected wildlife. Additionally, stay out of the ocean during your participation at Clean Games, and be respectful of other beach go-ers during your trash collection.
Finally, we ask that participants maintain social distancing guidelines (wear a face covering and maintain a 6 ft distance) at all times.
